Biography
Clinician, academician, educator and researcher Prof. (Dr.) Rajvardhan Azad embodies these qualities with a self-assurance that comes through expertise and experience in the field of eye care for over 40 years. He is a Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (FRCSed), Academy of Medical Sciences (FAMS), International College of Surgeons (FICS), All India Collegium of Ophthalmology (FAICO), Academy of Asia Pacific Professor in Ophthalmology (FAAPPO) and Srilankan College of Ophthalmology (FSCO). His commitment to teaching, research and patient care brought his way to facultiship, Professorship and the Chiefship of the prestigious Dr. R.P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi, India. He is now Vitreretinal Consultant and Director ROP services at Bharti Eye Hospital, New Delhi and also Chairman and Director of Raj Retina Eye Care Centre
